Reception Photos to Come Shortly
11/09/2006 02:33 PM Filed in: Reception
Like the wedding photos, there are many, many reception photos. Those should be posted tonight as well, or at the latest this weekend. I may add to them as I get photos from friends and family.
Wedding Photos to Come Shortly

There are a ton of wedding photos to sort through, plus I won't have all of the ones that were taken until I get back from our honeymoon. I have the ones that I took and that Lindsey took, but not photos taken by friends and family. As I get those photos I will add the ones I really like.

Day Three: Taking It Easy
11/09/2006 08:25 AM Filed in: Honeymoon
Today Tracy and I decided that we would just take it easy. No trips anywhere, no shopping; just relaxing. I'm proud to say that short of a quick trip to the on-site dive shop and two souvenir shops we succeeded quite well. If you know either of us, you know that for us to sit still for an entire day is not an easy task. Read More...
Day Two: Visit to Charlotte-Amallie
11/08/2006 08:24 AM Filed in: Honeymoon
We are staying on the East end of the island in an area known as Redhook. While this is where many of the best resorts are located, the capital of St. Thomas is on the West end of the island. This is where all of the cruise ships come in each day. The airport is also located on the West end. So if you come to St. Thomas, most likely you will enter through the town of Charlotte Amallie. If you like to shop, it is a town you want to visit. If you do so though, you want to try and hit the town when there are only one or two cruise ships in port. Read More...
Day One: First Full Day in St. Thomas

Even with a 2 hours time difference, we are in the Atlantic Time zone (yes its a real time zone), we woke up at 7 am or for those mathematically challenged that's 5 am Central; our usual wake-up time. Yes, we are sick people. I actually woke a few minutes before my bride and walked onto our veranda and saw one of the most beautiful sites of my life, Nazerath Bay.
The honeymoon has begun. I woke-up Tracy and we prepared for our first day's adventure. We were going to eat breakfast at the on-site restaraunt, but while in the main office checking on transportation we met Stanley, a local taxi cab driver and he suggested Molly Malones, an Irish pub. He said that was his pick for breakfast and he would be happy to take us there. Ten minutes and 10 bucks later (plus a tip) we were there. His son, also a cab driver, was with him and when we asked him the best way to see the island he suggested his father. We got Stanley's phone number and said we would keep him in mind, and we will. Especially after eating at the pub, it was comfortable and very good. It is an open air restaraunt with a small man made waterfall and stream running through it. Very relaxing. Read More...

Arrived in St. Thomas - Honeymoon Begins
11/06/2006 11:29 PM Filed in: Honeymoon
Arrived exhausted. Thank god we are here. Hotel room is gorgeous. We here the ocean, and can see a few waves, but its too dark to see more than that. We have a full kitchen, but no food. We will have to go shopping tomorrow for coffee and other essentials. The weather is near perfect, but its very, very humid. Welcome to the tropics. While it really isn't late as we are still on central time, we are completly exhausted from several days of non-stop activities. Who knew a wedding could make you so increadibly tired? We've unpacked our bags and settled in for the duration. It is not time for us both to settle in and drop off for a good night's sleep. We have until Thursday next to do and see what we want to do, plus find a little time for ourselves and simple relaxation. Good night!
The Wedding Day
11/06/2006 04:33 PM
Our wedding day was as perfect as perfect could be for any wedding. Not everything went exactly as according to plan. Some items were forgotten, if only for a short while. Some folks were late and of course the whole wedding started 15 minutes late, which is on-time as I understand it from others that have been to more weddings than I.
Let me take you through the day, and long was the day. We awoke in our fabulous Presidential Suite at 5:30. Tracy couldn't sleep, and truth be told I was having a hard time as well. She eventually decided to head out and get some coffee for us and breakfast food for the guests we were expecting in the room all morning. Tracy took off a little after 6:00 and I dragged myself out of bed to take a shower and attempt to fully wake-up. I also had to burn a DVD for the wedding and wanted to verify the song list for the wedding. Read More...

Wedding Rehearsal
11/04/2006 09:48 PM Filed in: Wedding
This evening we had our wedding Rehearsal, and I can honestly say that each and every person had a fun time. As we stepped through each part of the wedding we joked, prodded and even learned a little of what each of us was supposed to do. I predict that tomorrow afternoon, at least one person will flub their lines or be late to the appointed spot; but I don't care. We are making this wedding something that everyone will remember as a good time; and that was my ultimate goal. Read More...
