Check-Out Time

Well, the honeymoon is quickly drawing to a close. We have to check-out at noon, although we don't have a flight till 4:40. At least the flight home is easier this time, we ride a 757 all the way and don't have to get off when we land in San Jaun. Coming here we had to do the San Juan Sprint, running an entire airport in just a few minutes.
We have had a fantastic time here and Tracy is a little sad to be leaving. We both miss Courtney though, and our lives in Dallas. We will be back to St. Thomas and hope to visit other islands of the Carribean in the future. St. Thomas though will always be the island we spent our first week together as man and wife.
I can't recommend St. Thomas enough. The people were friendly. There is plenty to do. The sites are fantastic and it isn't that expensive of a place to visit. It isn't cheap, but you can visit here for a reasonable price. If you want to do it up big, you can do that too. We think if we come back, we might like to charter a boat for a full week; but who knows.
We stayed at Secret Harbor Resort, and loved it. There are some larger more refined resorts here, but Secret Harbor was very quiet and fit our purposes perfectly. Considering I chose it after only doing internet research, I have been very pleased.
Well, it's time to checkout and burn a few hours before going to the airport.
Tracy and I want to thank all our friends and family who were a part of our wedding. We also want to thank Tom and others that made coming on our honeymoon possible. I especially want to thank my boss for giving me the time off from work, and my team for covering me while I was out of the office.
There will be a few more wrap-up posts, plus some catch-up posts over the weekend to complete out the wedding journal.
