Traveling to Dallas
BY AIR
There are basically two choices for arriving in Dallas by air, Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport or Dallas Love Field. Either is a good choice, and depending on where you are coming from will have definite advantages and disadvantages.
DFW Airport
Just about every major airline, and many of the smaller airlines fly into DFW. If you chose to fly into Dallas via DFW Airport then you will have a wide selection of times and airlines to fight over your business. DFW isn't located too far from Dallas and renting a car isn't all that difficult. There is also the option of a taxi (expensive) or a Shuttle Bus service like Super Shuttle. Check with your hotel, but most don't offer service to and from DFW.
Love Field
While Love Field the Dallas equivalent to Midway in Chicago and the corporate headquarters and hub for SouthWest Airlines, it does have one major drawback. If you are traveling from outside of Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisiana or Arkansas you will have to travel stop somewhere in one of those states as non-stop flights from any other state is not currently allowed (there are a few exceptions, check with SouthWest for more details). Beyond that small hiccup Love Field is a great place to enter Dallas and has the additional bonus of being only 15 minutes from Mockingbird Station where the hotel and Trinity Hall are located. Should you fly into Love Field you can take a taxi from the airport to the Radisson and have access to DART (local light rail system) that can get you downtown or to City Place and then a short walk to Mickeney Ave and any number of great restaurants.
AirPort Transportation
If you want you can rent a car, but you can also use a service like Super Shuttle, which can take you from either DFW Airport or Love Field to the hotel of your choice.
Should you stay at the Radisson, they provide free shuttle service to Dallas Love Field and other locations within 5 miles of the hotel to registered guests.
BY CAR
Getting to Dallas by Car isn't very difficult, especially if you live in Tulsa. Coming from the North you can take either 75 or 35. Of the two 75 is best if you are coming from the Tulsa area while 35 is best if you are coming from the Oklahoma City area. If you are coming from South of Dallas then 35 is your ticket into the City. Chances are though, if you are driving you already know your way to Dallas.
